I couldn’t be with my friend on her birthday, so Nadine’s Bakery helped. The birthday cake was oohy gooey and delicious. A big hit with my sweet-loving friend on her special day.

Once inside this bakery, you will notice certain things. like their refrigerator loaded with finer pastries and cream cakes. Their many varieties of fudge are made on the premises, and you should not wander over to that area if you are hungry! All of their donuts are top-notch, but their cannolis are worth driving across town for. They have them all the time, but they will tell you they are by order only, which means they filled the shells while you wait. I bet you will never make it home before taking one out of the box! I use them to impress people when dining over. Always a huge hit!
Birthday Cake

My coworkers bought a birthday cake from Nadine’s on October 16th as a surprise. The cake was amazing! Three layers, delicious raspberry jam (?) between each layer and beautifully decorated! I swear it weighed about five pounds!! It was one of the most amazing cakes I have ever had! They even spelled my name right on the top! LOL! I will definitely be coming back to Nadine’s next time I need a cake for a special occasion. I encourage you to do the same! Plus it’s good to support our local businesses!

Nadine’s has the best rye bread in Tucson!! And you can get it with or without caraway seeds. ‘Love the caraway-seed version. Their other pastries are wonderful too. ‘Just like an old-fashion bakery! There aren’t many of those around anymore….

I live out of state and this is a must stop location each time I return to the area. Best carrot cake I’ve had at a bakery (they need 3 days advance to make one) and their seeded rye bread is to die for! I take both back home on the plane when possible – if there is any left 😉
